The drug trade is controlled by the Committee of 300 from the Top down. The drug trade started with the British East India Company and was closely followed by the Dutch East India Company. Both were controlled by a ‘Council of 300’. BEIC established the ‘China Inland Mission’, whose job it was to get The Chinese peasants, or coolies, as they were called, addicted to opium. This created the market for opium which the BEIC then filled.
